How batch works

A plain-English walk through batch processing in MonAI Workspace. If you can drag a folder and name a case, you can use it.

What batch is for

Batch is for the days when work arrives in a pile. Several clients, several folders, a hundred files and no time to open them one by one.

Instead of processing a single client at a time, you give MonAI the whole pile. The workspace creates the cases automatically, you name them, and then it runs every case. One drop, one queue, one pass. That is where the throughput comes from: the same person clears far more cases in the same day.

1

Drag in a folder

You do

Drop a folder of client files into the workspace. It does not need to be tidy or named in a particular way.

MonAI does

Accepts the files as they are and gets them ready.

2

The workspace creates the cases

You do

Nothing. The cases appear on their own.

MonAI does

Reads each file, works out what it is, and creates a case for each client it finds. No manual sorting, and no first pass to check.

3

Name the cases

You do

Give each case a name you will recognise. This is optional, but it makes a long queue easier to scan.

MonAI does

Keeps every name editable, so a case can be renamed or merged right up until you run it.

4

Run every case automatically

You do

Start the whole batch, then review and sign off each case as it completes.

MonAI does

Extracts the data, builds the snapshot and generates the documents for every case in the batch.

The point is throughput

Batch removes the setup work. You do not sort files, group them or build cases by hand. The workspace creates the cases as the folder lands, and you spend your attention on the cases themselves.

Name the cases so the queue is easy to scan, then start the run. Every case is processed, and the snapshot you sign off is still the source of truth the documents are built from. The report is generated from data you approved, not from a guess.

What batch will not do

It will not run without your say so. The cases are created automatically, and you can rename or merge any of them before you start the batch.

It will not invent a document type. You choose the output template you want, and the system tells you when it is unsure.

It will not generate anything before you have checked and signed off the snapshot.

It will not silently drop a file. If something does not fit, you see it and you decide what to do.

The whole thing in one line

1. Drop a folder
2. The workspace creates the cases
3. Name the cases
4. Run every case
5. Sign off each snapshot
